It’s been a busy week in terms of bug fixes. First it was Microsoft and Adobe who released updates for their respective software portfolios. Now Mozilla has gotten into the act. They have released an updated version of the Firefox browser that fixes a number of security issues, out of which at least four of them rated critical. The update will be rolled out via Firebox’s inbuilt automatic update system. With this release Firefox will move to version 1.5.0.7.

Secunia, a noted security firm has posted an advisory rating the flaws as ‘highly critical’ saying that the bugs can be exploited in multiple ways for compromising a user’s system.Their security advisory can be read here.
