Motorola’s MING editions with their transparent flip case and touchscreen display have been sparking curiosity every time a model was announced. However, the A1200 that go this ball rolling was the sleekest by far. The later models like the A1600 put on little weight while still retaining the same design. Needless to say the overall look was not too flattering.
According to reports, Motorola is planning on bringing us a direct successor to the A1200 in the A1210 MING. This handset will also be running on their Linux OS and sport –
- A 2.8-inch touchscreen display with a 240 x 320 pixel resolution
- FM radio
- 3 megapixel camera (no confirmation on focus yet)
- MicroSD card support
- EDGE/GPRS
- Bluetooth (possibly with A2DP, yet to be conformed) and USB 2.0
These are the only details we’ve heard of so far with no pricing or availability mentioned yet, so stay tuned.
