Motorola’s latest and first slider phone has made it into the shops in the city. The innovatively named RIZR slides - or rises up - to reveal the keypad.
The RIZR Z3 is essentially a slider version of the recently launched KRZR K1. It is equally slim at around 1.6cm, while being 4.6cm wide and 10.6cm long, which is roughly the same as the KRZR K1. The phone is a little heavier at around 115gms.
Features include a 1.9-inch 176x220 display, a 2 megapixel digital camera, MP3/AAC playback, Bluetooth with A2DP stereo, USB 2.0, Push-To-Talk and Push-To-View, 16mb of built-in memory and a microSD/TransFlash slot. The RIZR Z3 is a quad-band GSM handset with GPRS and EDGE network support.
It is available right now for around Rs. 13,500, which is around Rs. 2,500 less than the equally featured KRZR K1.
