Motorola Moto X Force with crack proof screen to be launched in India soon

The Motorola Moto X Force also known as the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 will see an Indian launch soon. The news comes from a recent press conference held by the company where Motorola Country Head, Amit Boni revealed the same. After the Moto X Play followed by the low-cost flagship Moto X Style, the Moto X Force will be Motorola’s first smartphone to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 chipset this year. While it may seem a bit too late to the flagship party, Motorola has a few tricks up its sleeves, which also happens to be the USP of the X Force. That would be the shatter-proof screen that protects its Quad HD flexible P-OLED display that makes for Motorola’s ShatterShield technology. More importantly, Motorola will also provide a 4 year warranty on the device’s screen to make the deal sweeter. Also thrown in, is the now standard water-resistant nano-coating, which makes the device more durable when compared to its competitors. The much-talked about 21 MP unit from the Moto X Style also makes it here. And all of the above obviously boils down to the pricing. Considering that the Motorola X Style retails for a starting price of Rs 31,999 for the 32 GB version, we are guessing something in the range of Rs 38,000 – Rs 42,000 for the higher-specd Moto X Force; after all, it is Motorola’s true-flagship. The current Motorola Moto Turbo retails for Rs 31,999, for the 64 GB version and packs-in a 2.7 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 805.
