Lenovo owned Motorola has announced its current generation affordable handset - the Moto E3 - in the UK. The phone is expected to hit the markets in September. The Moto E3 has been announced at a price of 99 Pounds Sterling that equates to around Rs 8,400 approximately. This is higher than the launch prices that we have seen of Moto E phones in India. The Moto E3 comes with a 5-inch HD display instead of a 4.5-inch display that was seen last year. It houses a quad-core processor inside. It will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box. On the camera front, the Moto E3 has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera. It comes with a microSD card slot to expand the storage - on board storage is not yet known. The phone is powered by a 2,800mAh battery. According to Lenovo, Moto E has a ‘built-in smudge-resistant screen protector’. Also just like the Moto G4, the Moto E3 is also water resistant, but cannot be submerged under water.
