Motorola’s latest budget wonder – Moto E – will be back in stock tomorrow, May 23 at 11AM. The budget Moto E that went on sale exclusively via Flipkart ran out of stock within two days. The company hasn’t mentioned if both black and white models will hit the stores.
Moto E is aimed at entry-level users, and could put any budget Android to shame. It gets a slightly smaller 4.3-inch qHD display, and a pixel density of 256 ppi. The rugged device comes with waterproof capabilities, and the display is scratch-resistant. Under the hood, it is powered by a dual-core Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz coupled with 1GB RAM. Read our complete Moto E review , to know more.
Priced at Rs 6,999, the Moto E could shake up the entry-level segment, especially threatening phones from the likes of Micromax, Karbonn, Lava etc . It also gets the better of comparably-priced entry-level models from the likes of Samsung and Sony . The out-of-stock status for the Moto E just underlines how much of a threat it is to these brands.
While Motorola has been doing very well in India with the Moto G and to some extent, the Moto X, the company plans to add to its portfolio in the country. Soon, India will see the Moto 360 smartwatch come to market and with the same competitive pricing that has become a hallmark of Motorola’s comeback to the Indian market.
