The company hasn’t mentioned if both black and white models will hit the stores. Moto E is aimed at entry-level users, and could put any budget Android to shame. It gets a slightly smaller 4.3-inch qHD display, and a pixel density of 256 ppi. The rugged device comes with waterproof capabilities, and the display is scratch-resistant. Priced at Rs 6,999, the Moto E could shake up the entry-level segment, especially threatening phones **from the likes of Micromax, Karbonn, Lava etc** . It also gets the better of comparably-priced **entry-level models from the likes of Samsung and Sony** . The out-of-stock status for the Moto E just underlines how much of a threat it is to these brands. While Motorola has been doing very well in India with the Moto G and to some extent, the Moto X, the company plans to add to its portfolio in the country.
