**Motorola** is sending out press invites for an event scheduled on 25 July, which in all likelihood could be for the launch of the Moto Z2 Force. While the Lenovo-owned company has not put the word out on the phone model it is going to announce, the company’s invite shows a poster with broken glass having “shatter your expectations” written on it based on a report by CNet.

The poster shared by Motorola clearly points towards what would be the second iteration of its ‘shattershield’ technology that features a toughened display which can withstand a considerable number of drops and bumps. Motorola that makes the Moto Z Force and the Droid Turbo 2 in the US which uses its ‘shattershield’ tech broughtt the Turno 2 to India in the form of the **Moto X Force** in early 2016 at Rs 49,990.
An earlier **leak** shared on Twitter by Evan Blass showed an image which was said to be a company presentation slide revealing Motorola’s line-up for 2017. The image did include the Moto Z2 Force which further points towards what the announcement on 25 July could include. The image had also revealed a 5.5-inch 1080p display including support for Moto Mods since the variant is essentially a part of the Moto Z family.
There is also the mention of gigabit LTE for the Z Force in the presentation slide, which means that it will run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 as it is the only chipset currently that has the X20 modem.
