Motorola has launched its new entry level phone, the W205, targeted at the mass market in India.
The W205 features a 65K color CSTN display to enable mobile users to experience a rich user interface. The compact and slim handset measures in at 14.9mm thick and supports an phonebook with capacity for up to 500 contacts as well as the ability to store up to 750 SMS on the phone’s memory.
The handset also enables the consumer to download 32 channel polyphonic ringtones and has iTAP predictive text messaging with a Hindi read and write capability. It has 1MB of user storage and an office quality speakerphone. The battery provides talk time of up to approximately 470 minutes with standby time clocking in at up to approximately 307 hours.
W205 also features a multi character phonebook search function with up to 12 characters, menu color personalization, lantern capability, which illuminates dark environments, a calendar, a currency converter and a talking alarm clock.

The new Motorola W205 is now available at Rs. 2,449.
