Motorola, Inc. has introduced four new mobile devices designed to deliver entertainment experiences to CDMA users. Their intent is to create products and solutions that will lead the way in cutting edge technology at various prices, creating choice without compromise.
“Mobile entertainment—including music, video, imaging, and gaming—is really heating up thanks to the convergence of faster networks, broader application choices, and cooler devices,” said Jeremy Dale, Vice President of Global Marketing & Communications, Mobile Devices, Motorola. “At Motorola, we’re driving those connections through our unique alliances, products and solutions. Our goal, with new devices like the MOTORAZR maxx Ve, MOTOROKR Z6m, and Motorola W385 and W355, is to create the ultimate mobile entertainment experience for everyone.”
The company states that these new phones will allow consumers to experience personalized mobile entertainment and communications worldwide.
MOTOROKR Z6m
The ROKR, which looks quite like the Motorizr, is a slim slider type phone. It’s equipped with a 2.0 megapixel camera with landscape view on a 2-inch QVGA display. The camera also allows for video capture and playback. With a 3.5mm headset jack connecting it to your stereo is easy. It also uses stereo Bluetooth wireless technology, USB 2.0 high speed, and supports up to 2GB of removable memory on microSDs.
MOTORAZR maxx Ve
Designed for CDMA users with a slight edge over its predecessor, the MORORAZR maxx Ve sports an ultra-thin design and high-end finishes. This flip phone/EVDO device is equipped with a 2.0 megapixel, auto focus camera, an integrated music player with touch sensitive controls and over-the-air music and video downloads. This phone also allows for video capture and playback and plays music files like Mp3 or WMA. Combined with stereo Bluetooth wireless technology the phone also has GPS/LBS capabilities. Memory can be enhanced using microSD cards.
Motorola W385 and W355
These 2 models are designed for the mass market. The W385 offers Bluetooth, a snap and share integrated camera, and GPS location services in a soft touch feel. The Motorola W355 sports a spun face and an integrated FM radio. Both these phones are designed keeping Motorola’s traditional flip design in mind.
All handsets are expected to be available in the first half of 2007.
