Lenovo will be launching the Moto Z2 Force smartphone as a limited edition on 15 February in India. Additionally, the launch invite also confirms that the smartphone will be bundled with the Moto TurboPower Pack Mod that was released earlier in December last year. The Moto Z2 itself was unveiled for global audiences back in July 2017 for a price tag of $799.
To recall, the Moto TurboPower Pack Mod included a 3,500 mAh battery and support 15 W of fast charging. The mod delivers up to 7 hours of battery life in just 15 minutes of charging. The Moto Z2 force has a unibody design made from 7000 series aluminium and a water-repellent nanocoating with pin connectors to connect with different mods.
The phone has a ShatterShield POLED display which is 5.5-inch in size. Under the hood, the phone has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC, 4 GB and 6 GB RAM options and 64GB or 128GB storage options. The phone will run on Android 7.1.1 and is expected to get an Android Oreo update soon.
In terms of optics, the phone has a dual-camera setup with dual 12 MP sensors, PDAF and LED flash. In the front, we have a 5 MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. Connectivity options include 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v4.2, NFC, GPS, and USB Type-C port. The entire setup is powered by 2,730mAh battery which supports 5W TurboPower charge.
