Motorola has already launched the Moto X Force as the Droid Turbo 2 in the US. But in a latest interview with IBNLive, Amit Boni, general manager of Motorola India has stated that the Moto X Force, the phone with shatter-proof glass on the display, will launch in India in January 2016. With the Moto G Turbo all set to this week, it looks like Motorola is leaving no stone unturned to bring in the new year with a bang. Moto G (3rd gen) and the Moto X Play are also set to get the Android Marshmallow update according to Boni. Moto X Force comes with the Moto ShatterShield technology which protects it 5.4-inch QuadHD flexible P-OLED display. According to Motorola, the screen uses a 5-layer setup to ensure that the phone can endure falls. It uses a P-OLED and dual-touch layer. More importantly, Motorola will also provide a 4 year warranty on the device’s screen to make the deal sweeter. Also thrown in, is the now standard water-resistant nano-coating, which makes the device more durable when compared to its competitors. The much-talked about 21 MP unit from the Moto X Style also makes it here. Under the hood, it gets a Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, 3GB RAM and Adreno 430 GPU. The company has put some thought in the battery too. It’s not just whopping 3,760 battery that promises about two days of power, but also both supports Qi and PMA wireless charging. The Moto X Force will be made available in 32GB or 64GB storage, but both come with microSD card slot up to 2TB. On the camera front, it gets a 21MP camera with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus, dual LED flash, HDR and 4K video recording. It comes with a 5MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and a front-facing flash. It also faces a front loudspeaker along with five mics for advanced noise cancellation. Motorola gives fingerprint sensor a miss, but does come with NFC support. The device runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, and Motorola should most probably add Marshmallow update soon.
