Moto X Force: shatter-proof screen with four-year warranty, Snapdragon 810 SoC and more

Motorola is not yet done with its phone launches for the year it seems. The Moto X Force which was launched earlier in the week as the Droid Turbo 2, will be coming to Indian shores next month. The unique feature that the Moto X Force boasts of is a shatter-proof display panel thanks to Motorola’s ShatterShield technology. The 32GB variant of the Moto X is priced at £499 (approx Rs 50,000) whereas the 64GB variant is priced at £534 (approx Rs 54,000). The Moto X Force’s display will also come with a four-year warranty which covers all kinds of damage to the display. Motorola has also employed a dual later of touchscreens to ensure that the second layer functions if the first one suffers any cracks. On the specifications front, the Moto X Force houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC which houses a 2GHz octa-core processor. This is paired with 3GB of RAM and comes in either the 32GB or 64GB storage options with the option to expand the storage. It runs Android 5.1.1. It sports a 5.4-inch QuadHD display. On the camera front, you get the same sensor as we have seen with the Moto X Style and Moto X Play before it - a 21MP rear sensor with f/2.0 aperture and a 5MP front camera. It supports phase detect autofocus. It supports 4G LTE bands, has Wi-fi with MIMO, Bluetooth 4.1 as well as infrared. The Moto X Force houses a 3,760mAh battery with Turbo charging for faster charging. It also support Qi and PMA wireless charging standards.
