It is no secret that Motorola is working on a new variant of the Moto X . Though the company hasn’t divulged any details, it did hint at a launch sometime in late summer. Now, a new tweet by tipster Evleaks says that the upcoming Motorola device could be named Moto X +1. Now, going by the track record of the prolific tipster, this piece of news could very well be true, though we still advice a pinch of salt. Take a look at the tweet below: What Evleaks doesn’t say is whether this is a codename chosen by Motorola, or if it’s indeed the final marketing name. The Moto X + 1 is expected to launch in summer, and so is the company’s first smartwatch that runs on Android Wear . There’s also speculation that the upcoming Moto X could work in tandem with the Moto 360 . We also hope to see some upgrades to the display, camera and processor. After the huge success of the Moto G, Motorola launched the Moto X in India starting at Rs 23,999, exclusively via Flipkart. The Moto X sports a Nexus 4-like 4.7-inch 720p touchscreen but its AMOLED display that brings better power savings and some software features, exclusive to the phone.
