While the buzz is that Motorola will be launching the successor of its **Moto X** along with the Moto G2 and Moto 360 soon, a new report suggests that the device has passed FCC certification.   First spotted by  Tktechnewsblog, the FCC filing now reveals some details about the device. The filing shows that the Moto X+ 1 will measure 140mm in height and 72.6mm in width. This means, it could come fitted with an approximately 5.2-inch display. The filing also shows other specs like support for NFC, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, LTE and Bluetooth 4.0.   Now, considering it has a 5.2-inch display, the device could also be the rumoured smaller Moto S. “We’re not exactly sure what it is, but the evidence available limits the possibilities of what it could be to just two devices: the smaller Moto S (aka X Play) or the Moto X+1. Both devices need to pass through the FCC before release, but only one is expected to be released anytime soon,” reveals Phonearena.     This means it could either be the Moto X Play or Moto X+ 1. However, the device being Moto X+ 1 makes more sense as it is slated to launch next week. It should be noted that **Motorola's global event**  invite has revealed icons showing a phone marked with the letter X, a phone with a G, a watch, and also a Bluetooth headset.   A report earlier today revealed that Google may release **two Nexus devices** . It will initially release a 5.9-inch  Nexus X, which will be followed by a 5.2-inch variant. The report also said that Motorola is testing two Moto S devices  - one with a 5.9-inch display and the other with a 5.2-inch display. The second device with 5.2-inch display could be pushed as the second variant of the Nexus X. Motorola is likely to make this move only depending upon the reaction it gets for the Moto X+ 1.
