Moto G teaser brings up November 13 launch date

After appearing in a series of leaks last week, the Moto G is finally official. Motorola hasn’t revealed much, but confirms the existence of the Moto G through a teaser. The teaser hints at an official announcement slated for next Wednesday, which is November 13.

On the other hand, GSMArena has disclosed a photo from a UK-based retailer confirming the Moto G, which the site had received some time back. However, it was asked not to disclose the photo until November 25, which was then likely to be the launch date of the device. In another report , the publisher has revealed that the Moto G will be priced at £134.95 (approx. Rs 13,300) off contract.

Moto G is on its way…

Last week, Motorola had accidentally listed the Moto G on its official website. According to previous leaks , the Moto G will sport a 4.5-inch 720p display, and come powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The handset will offer 8GB and 16GB internal memory variants. Under the hood, it will be fuelled by an LG-made 1950mAh battery.

On the camera front, it may come with an 8-megapixel shooter, but there is no mention of a front-facing camera. It must be said that these specifications are entirely unconfirmed at this moment and we will only know the final specs on November 13.

Moto G is touted to be a more budget-oriented version of the Moto X . Also, it should be noted that Google had recently slashed the price of the Moto X to $99.99 with a signed two-year contract.
