Motorola has officially listed the Moto G Forte on it’s Mexico website, but there’s a bit of a surprise awaiting you if you wanted a **Moto G dressed in waterproof, rugged attire** , as was speculated. In fact, there’s nothing different about this Moto G other than the fact that instead of a plain back cover, it will come in one of Motorola’s Grip Shell out of the box. The Grip Shell adds a layer of extra protection around the sides of the phone, making it less prone to damage on falls. Other than that there’s nothing separating the Moto G here from **the one we reviewed and loved** . Motorola is also throwing in 50GB of Google Drive storage for a limited time. Unfortunately, the site doesn’t mention when the Moto G Forte will be launching internationally, though there’s very little here that should make you wait for that version and not simply buy the existing model. The Grip Shells are available as an add-on accessory to the Moto G, selling for $14.99 internationally and Rs 999 in India. So those among you who wish to turn your regular Moto G into a Forte version, can do that already. The Moto G has turned out to be a wild success for Motorola and its India launch has been said to be the most successful for a Motorola phone ever. Following that success, Motorola launched the Moto X in India, **starting at Rs 23,999.** Both the Moto G and **Moto X are Flipkart exclusives** , so it would make sense that the Forte version will also follow suit.
