Moto E3 Power launched in India with 3,500 mAh and MediaTek SoC

Lenovo owned smartphone maker Motorola has announced the new Moto E3 Power in India today with a price tag of Rs 7,999. The smartphone is variant of the regular Moto E3 which was announced in UK back in July. The Moto E3 Power is the third generation of Motorola’s popular affordable handset. The new smartphone comes with a 5-inch display with 720p resolution protected with Gorilla Glass 3 with a smudge proof coating. Inside there is a MediaTek MT6735P quad-core processor clocked at 1GHz with 2GB RAM and a Mali-T720MP2 GPU. It offers 16GB of internal storage which expandable up to 32GB via the microSD card slot. At the back there is an 8MP camera with features like HDR and panorama. There is also a 5MP selfie shooter on the front. It is 4G and VoLTE enabled and will support all networks including Reliance Jio. ![moto-e3-2](http://tech.firstpost.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/09/moto-e3-2.jpg) It will run on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow and will feature Moto’s features like twist to open camera and chop to trigger the flashlight. Unlike the Moto E3, the E3 Power will feature a larger 3,500mAh battery and supports turbo charging. The company has also said that it will be water resistant, however it can’t be submerged in water and can only take a few splashes. Moto along with Flipkart is giving a variety of offers including an exchange offer with up to Rs 1,000 off. No cost EMI options at Rs 1,334 for six months. Free 32GB SanDisk microSD card and addition Rs 800 off for SBI card users. Moto will also sell the Moto Pulse headset at Rs 499 with the Moto E3 Power. With this launch, Moto has now covered the Rs 7000 to Rs 15,000 segment covered which include the Moto G4 Play, Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus. The new Moto E3 Power is a Flipkart exclusive and will be available from tonight.
