You, me, heck even your grandma is probably excited at the thought of playing a real Mortal Kombat game after all these years (yeah, we all choose to block out Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe from our lives). And if you’re a PS3 owner you’ll get a chance to sample the action before the game hits stores this April via a demo that’s out on the PlayStation Network (PSN) now.

Time to cook up something new
The demo will allow players to step into the boots of crown favorite, Scorpion, his arch nemesis, Sub-Zero, Mileena and wise guy, Johnny Cage as they battle to highly gory deaths in the Living Forest and the Pit. And yeah, the demo features two player play as well.
We were lucky enough to try out a two month old build of the game and we absolutely loved it. Head over to our hands-on for more.
Mortal Kombat will release by the 22nd of April 2010 for the Xbox360 and PS3.
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
