More Details about the White iPhone 4 Appear

Apple has already released their White iPhone 4 which is said to be a little different than its original black version. Obviously, there’s no reason to make a big hue and cry only for a colour change. The only question is how different is it from the original one? Here’s some news about the White iPhone 4.

Thicker, better? Maybe not…

One issue noted is that the white iPhone 5 is thicker than its black counterpart. The thickness might be a tenth of a millimeter or so and on a general scale looks to be quite trivial. However, it seems that this thickness might be a problem for those purchasing external cases for their precious iPhones! One reason for making the white iPhone 4 thicker is that Apple has added something extra to it.

Censor the white’s proximity!

This is where the other news about the iPhone 4 comes into play. It’s also being said that this version of the handset has a different lens for its primary camera along with a different proximity sensor as well. Apparently, it was the camera’s lens which caused a one year delay for the White version to release and get official. There was an issue with the white semi-translucent glass and the flash of the camera. Also, the proximity sensor has been changed because of the white semi-translucent white front panel.

All in all, it might be that the whole white finishing of the handset has caused some trivial issues here and there. However, it seems that there’s not much of a difference between the two variants but we’ll hang around and see whether there’s something important to talk about.
