Microsoft's Surface Pro 2-in-1 launched in India at a starting price of Rs 64,999

**Microsoft** on Thursday finally announced the sale of its **Surface Pro** notebook and accessories lineup in India. The 2-in-1 Surface Pro will be available on sale online via Amazon and Flipkart and offline through Microsoft’s 130 retail partners and resellers including Croma, Vijay Sales and Reliance Digital. The laptop comes with Intel’s 7th generation Core m3, i5 and i7 processors and packs a claimed battery life of up to 13.5 hours on a single charge. Microsoft claims that the laptop has been “redesigned inside-out” and is just 8.5 mm thin and weighs only 767 gms. The Surface Pro comes with Intel’s 7th generation Core i5 and i7 processors and also adds support for the Surface Pen 4. All Surface Pro variants will sell with a version of **Windows 10 Pro** out of the box. The base variant of the 2-in-1 Microsoft Surface Pro bears a price tag of Rs 64,999 with a configuration of Intel Core m3, 128 GB SSD, 4 GB RAM and Intel HD Graphics 615. The maxed-out variant features an Intel Core i7 processor, 512 GB SSD, 16 GB of RAM and Intel Iris Plus Graphics 640 at a price of Rs 1,82,999. Announcing the laptop in India, Vineet Durani, the Director for Windows and Devices, Microsoft India said, “We are delighted to announce the launch of Surface Pro in India and offer our consumers another superior device that will enable them to create, study, work and play virtually anywhere.” Microsoft has also launched a bunch of accessories along with the Surface Pro including the Surface Pro Type Cover, Signature Type Cover, Surface Pen and Surface Arc Mouse.
