Microsoft has announced that it will be releasing six security updates this week, with one among them already being exploited by hackers.
There will be five updates for Windows and the sixth one will target XML core services. At least two of the updates are labeled ‘critical’, Microsoft’s highest warning level.
Other yet to be patched flaws have been reported including a bug in an ActiveX control in Visual Studio 2005. Several other vulnerabilities, including some in IE7 have also been reported.
The updates will be available for manual download from Microsoft’s website on Tuesday, November 14. Automatic updates will begin shortly after that.
