Microsoft still backs feature phones, launches Nokia 130

Microsoft has announced the all new Nokia 130, an affordable phone priced at €19 that translates to approximately Rs 1,550. With this new phone, Microsoft has made it clear that it still backs Nokia’s uber-affordable entry-level clan of devices. The highlight of the device is prolonged hours of music and video playback support, fuelled by the 1020mAh battery. The Nokia 130’s said to be the most affordable phone with an in-built video player that promises to play videos for 16 hours.

Microsoft has announced the all new Nokia 130, an affordable phone priced at €19 that translates to approximately Rs 1,550. With this new phone, Microsoft has made it clear that it still backs Nokia’s uber-affordable entry-level clan of devices.

The highlight of the device is prolonged hours of music and video playback support, fuelled by the 1020mAh battery. The Nokia 130’s said to be the most affordable phone with an in-built video player that promises to play videos for 16 hours. On the other hand, the MP3 player claims to emit tunes for up to 46 hours.

The phone comes with a 1.8-inch display with QQVGA (160 x 128)  resolution and the iconic flash light is embedded on the backside of the device. Measuring 106 mm x 45.5 mm x 13.9 mm, it weighs 68.6 grams.

Microsoft has built a single-SIM as well as dual-SIM variant of the device, offering standby time of up to 36 days and 26 days respectively. Both, Nokia 130 and its dual SIM variant are listed on the company’s official site. The devices come dipped in black, white and red colours, and are expected to be available in this quarter.
