One of the patches introduced in last week’s release is causing trouble for quite a few users. The MS06-015 patch, designed to plug a flaw in Windows Explorer, can cause problems for users of HP printers and peripherals Microsoft said in an article on its support Web site. People with Sunbelt Software’s Kerio Personal Firewall are also affected as it causes the firewall to stop working. The range of troubles include being unable to access or save files in folders like “My Documents and “My Pictures”, to unresponsive Microsoft Office applications and leading upto application crashes while opening a file.
