Microsoft Introduces Windows Azure Toolkits

Microsoft today announced the Windows Azure Toolkits for mobility devices, namely Windows Phone and iOS, and also announced a preview toolkit for Android. For those not in the know, Windows Azure is Microsoft’s cloud platform that helps developers by allowing them to write programs that take advantage of Microsoft’s hardware instead of their own.

The release includes an update to the Windows Phone toolkit released last month, and a new toolkit that will allow devs to integrate Azure into iPhone and iPad applications. Support for Google’s Android Operating System is also coming soon, as evidenced by the toolkit prototype.
