Need a new webcam? Maybe you should wait a couple of months for the Microsoft LifeCams, which by far seem to be the most innovative webcams in recent times. As per our [earlier report->Microsoft to Enter Webcam Market], Microsoft has announced two new webcams set for launch by Auguust this year. The new LifeCams VX-6000 and VX-3000 are designed to blend in perfectly with your Windows Live Messenger. With a simple tap on the button placed on top of the cam you can pop up your online buddy list and place a video call with ease. These cams also allow you to pan, tilt and zoom as per your requirement. The VX-6000 gives you a 71 degree wide viewing angle so you can have more people join in the conversation on your video call. It can also take 5 megapixel still shots (interpolated) and video at 1.3 megapixels. The built-in noise-cancellation mics help deliver only your relevant speech in voice conversations, while cutting out on the background chatter. The VX-6000 and VX-3000 will be available at $99 and $49 respectively. You can preorder them at
