Microsoft’s Windows 10 event which will take place tonight, will reportedly unveil a phone-laptop hybrid apart from the Windows 10 consumer preview. The company will introduce this phone in an attempt to appeal to enterprise customers. Though the device will go into production much later, it could possibly sport a slide-out QWERTY hardware keyboard. A report by The Information stated that Microsoft will be introducing new hardware for enterprise customers at the Windows 10 press briefing. The hardware is said to be in development stage, so not much is known about it as yet. Further, the report suggests that the Redmond giant also has plans to launch a single Windows app store, instead of the two separate stores that is Windows Phone Store and Windows Store. Microsoft could also introduce a new hardware but not much information was provided. It is also said to introduce an updated Windows Phone version of Office 365, its cloud-based productivity suite. The company is also planning to show off new features of its flagship operating system, and possibly an improved Internet browser and more uses for Microsoft’s voice-controlled digital assistant, Cortana. The company hopes to lure developers to Windows Phone by unifying apps on the mobile line with its still-popular desktop operating system.
