Microsoft has launched its Xbox Live Gold Rush programme in India that will offer gamers free access to Xbox 360 titles and entertainment apps, as well as exclusive game content. The Gold subscription package is available for Rs 3,400 for the year and you can purchase it at authorised retailers or via the console itself. On subscribing to the Xbox Live Gold programme, gamers will get 36 free games, discounts on future purchases as well as access to premium entertainment apps and the Xbox online multiplayer gaming network. The gamers will also get two free games every month and access to free-to-play titles such as Warface and World of Tanks. Subscribers can also redeem nine Xbox Arcade Games for free through the year. Microsoft is also giving away a Gold Rush suitcase with goodies worth approximately Rs 3 lakh. These include a 100g gold bar, a Titanfall Collector’s Edition for Xbox 360, an Xbox 360 Special Edition Chrome series controller (in Gold), and an Xbox Live 12-month Gold subscription card. The company is also giving away Rs 2500 worth of Xbox Live credits every week to eight randomly chosen subscribers.
