Micromax YU Yuphoria with 4G LTE support to be launched in India today

Micromax’s YU, which made an entry with Yureka, is all set to launch another Cyanogen-based smartphone today, dubbed Yuphoria. According to our sources, the device is said to run Android Lollipop out of the box, along with the main highlight - 4G LTE support. Leaked images give a glimpse of the LTE signal icon towards the top right hand corner of the screenshot below. Another leaked image also shows the phone running on Android 5.0 Lollipop. Although the details on the internal components aren’t known, there’s a high possibility that it will feature a 64-bit SoC. YU Televentures’ official Twitter account shared an update which stated that the company will unveil a new handset on May 12. The Yuphoria will feature Cyanogen 12 OS based on Android 5.0 Lollipop. https://twitter.com/YUplaygod/status/594044859968684032 According to an earlier report , Micromax’s online venture YU had confirmed that its upcoming Yureka handset would come with the Android Lollipop update. The successor to the Yureka smartphone had been codenamed ‘Project Caesar’, and in it’s latest promo ad for the device, the company had also, taken a dig at Xiaomi. It was soon followed by another tease that said, “Lollipop comes pre-loaded with Project Caesar! Why would YU buy anything else?”
