Excited about the Micromax Canvas 4? You can get ahead of the queue by pre-booking the forthcoming Micromax flagship from today.
The company has opened up a pre-order page where customers will have to pay Rs 5,000 to book their Canvas 4. As a bonus, 10 lucky pre-orderers, who book the phone before July 6, will be invited to the company’s event on July 8, when the phone’s price will also be revealed.
According to the terms of the pre-order deal, the phone will start shipping on July 10 and will be delivered in 7 days, says Micromax. If you pre-book the Canvas 4, then the remaining amount for the phone has to be paid by July 15. For those who could possibly be unhappy with the Canvas 4’s specs and features, a refund for the pre-booking amount can be claimed, according to the terms and conditions, after July 15. The pre-order page also gives us first proper images of the Canvas 4, showing a brushed-aluminium-like back and a metal trim around the edges. The camera lens protrudes from the top left corner of the back, and it certainly looks like a premium phone.
Here’s the Canvas 4
The Canvas 4 is expected to be priced between Rs 23,000 and Rs 25,000, according to our sources, and could be the first Micromax device to have a price tag of over Rs 20,000. The camera has been confirmed to be a 13 megapixel affair, while the display will most likely have 1080p resolution, in keeping with the Samsung Galaxy S4, Sony Xperia Z and HTC One. Other specs are still unclear, though we would be highly surprised if this smartphone didn’t come with a quad-core CPU.
