Micromax may launch its first dual-camera smartphone on 29 March

Micromax has sent out invites for a smartphone launch on 29 March 2017. The company has not revealed any details about the smartphone at the time of writing. The invite does not give any hints about the product that the company may launch at the event. It simply says 13 cube, which is equal to 2197. The company has written ‘MARCH’ on the right side of 2197 in orange colour with 2 and 9 digits highlighted in the same colour to signify 29 March as the date. 17 indicating the year. Despite the lack of details, it is reported that the company will launch its first dual camera smartphone in the event. One thing to note is that 13 cubed could signify two 13MP camera sensors on the back and one 13MP camera sensor on the front. But at this point, we are purely speculating. The dual camera spotting Micromax smartphone with codename E4815 was spotted online in China. 4G VoLTE equipped Micromax E4815 will sport a dual-camera module on the back with 13MP and 5MP camera sensors at the back and another 5MP camera module on the front for selfies. The rear camera will sport a LED flash in between the camera modules. According to the report by Mobile India, the smartphone will be equipped with a metal unibody design and a 5.5-inch IPS display while being powered by an Octa-core MediaTek MT6750T processor clocked at 1.5GHz. The smartphone will sport a 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage with the option to expand the storage.
