Micromax has launched yet another quad-core processor phone, the A110Q Canvas 2 Plus which is available for sale via the company’s website for Rs 12,100.
Canvas 2 Plus runs the latest version of Android, the 4.2 build of Jelly Bean. It has a 5-inch display with 854 x 480 resolution and has MediaTek’s MT6589 chipset. The quad-core processor is clocked at 1.2GHz. and the smartphone has 1GB RAM.

It has 4GB and there’s a microSD card with 32GB capacity. Just like the Canvas HD, the Canvas 2 Plus also has a 8-megapixel camera with dual LED flash. The front camera is a 2-megapixel one. It has a 2000 mAh battery, which Micromax says offers 6 hours of talktime.
The device supports Bluetooth 4.0, 3G and Wifi.
This phone is the latest in a slew of quad-core smartphone releases in recent weeks. Some releases include the Gionee E3 for Rs 14,999, Lava Iris 458q for Rs 8,999, Panasonic P51, LG Google Nexus 4 for Rs 25,990 and Samsung Galaxy Grand Quattro for Rs 16,900.
