Micromax has now announced the launch of its new smartphone, the Canvas Doodle 2, with a price tag of Rs 19,990. The smartphone sports a 5.7-inch HD IPS display and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). According to the company, the OS can be upgraded via FOTA (firmware over-the-air). The smartphone will now be available across the country.
The phone is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor and a 2600mAh battery. In addition, the smartphone also comes with a 12 megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel front shooter. Overall, the Canvas Doodle 2 comes in a full aluminum body. The smartphone comes with 16GB of internal storage along with GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v4.0 support.
The phone also comes with smart features like videohub for an interactive video experience, among other things. Smart gestures have also been enabled, which allow users to flip the phone to activate silent mode or enable the speaker while on a call. The Canvas Doodle 2 also comes pre-loaded with Kingsoft Office for work on-the-go. The phone will also come pre-loaded with apps like FoneClay, Hike for instant messaging, Opera Mini Browser, Spuul and Music Hub.
