After appearing on an online retailer’s site last week, Micromax has finally launched the Canvas Turbo Mini A350 for Indian users. Along with the Turbo Mini, the company has also launched its latest addition to the Bolt series – A71. The Canvas Turbo Mini and Bolt A71 are priced at Rs 14,490 and Rs 6750 respectively. The Turbo Mini A350 is a stripped down version of the company’s once-flagship, the Canvas Turbo. Unlike its big brother, the Canvas Turbo Mini sports a 4.69-inch display with 1028 x 720 pixels of resolution. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor and 1GB of RAM. The 4GB onboard storage can be expanded further up to 32GB via the microSD card slot. On the camera front, one will find an 8-megapixel rear snapper and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera. All of this is fuelled by an 1800 mAh battery, that promises to deliver up to 6.5 hours of talktime. The connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, dual-SIM, Bluetooth, and A-GPS. The specs are almost similar to the recently launched Iris Pro 30 . You can check out our Micromax Canvas Turbo Mini vs Lava Iris Pro 30 specs comparison. Except for a better processor and front-camera, it almost resembles the Canvas HD. It should be noted that currently the Canvas HD retails around Rs 13,000 and the Canvas Turbo around Rs 16,000. Needless to say, the Bolt A71 is a more budget entry-level device. It sports a 5-inch display with 480 x 800 resolution. It is powered by a 1GHz ARM Cortex-A5 processor with 512MB RAM. It supports dual-SIM functionality, along with support for 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Some other specs include 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front-facing camera, mere 512MB onboard storage and 32GB expandable memory. This means, the device may be incapable of running all your apps. The devices are available through Micromax site and also through online retailer Flipkart.
