Micromax has launched a new tablet in India dubbed the Canvas Tab P702. The device is available in Bold black and Classy white via Snapdeal
for a price of Rs 7,999. The tablet also comes with OTG cable, headphones and 7 Kindle e-books worth Rs 1,500 for free. In terms of specifications, the device features a 7-inch HD IPS display with 1280 x 720 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 2GB RAM. Running Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box, the device comes with an internal storage of 16GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
It comes equipped with a 5MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash along with a 2MP front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the device includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and microUSB. A 3000mAh battery completes the package and is rated to deliver up to 250 hours of standby time and up to 3 hours of playtime. Speaking on the launch, Shubhajit Sen, CMO, Micromax Informatics, said, “With improving wireless connectivity, larger display sizes are getting customer adulation.
