Mercury mTABmagiQ launched in India for Rs. 12,700

The budget tablet market in India is expanding and there are several manufacturers unveiling various models with different features. Building up on this segment, Kobian, a leading player in computer peripherals and tablets, has announced the launch of its first dual-SIM tablet, dubbed the Mercury mTABmagiQ. The brand claims that the 5-inch, slim mTABmagiQ tablet utilises features of the modern day smartphones to create a unique Android device.
 
The Mercury mTABmagiQ offers a range of features packed in a 5-inch slim, light tablet. Kobian claims that the large screen allows full viewing and doing more in one glance with minimal scrolling. The dual-SIM tablet is a unique offering which is not available in most of the similar sized tablets available in the country.

This dual-SIM tablet works on the latest Android Ice Cream Sandwich platform allowing a wide range of Android applications available from the Google Play store. The tablet is also equipped with high speed 1GHz processor with 512MB of RAM that offers fast uploads and downloads with HSPA.

As for connectivity, the tablet supports 3G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth for a faster transferring of data. Web browsing, internet surfing, emails, chatting is also possible on this tablet. The Mercury mTABmagiQ features dual cameras with front camera for video chatting and a 12MP Rear camera for capturing images and videos. The brand states that the Kobian Mercury mTABmagiQ comes with a long battery life which provides a standby time of up to 15 days and talk time up to 13 hours. All this is loaded in a mere 140gm package which can be carried easily and it gives a rich, slim and stylish look. The tablet also features a built-in FM radio, speaker phone and flash 10.0 online video.
 
Mercury magiQ comes with in-built Accelerometer, supports GPS, phone book, call record history, sms, mms, e-mail, push mail and IM. The dual SIM feature is the specialty of magiQ which is the present need of a user. magiQ is designed with multiple I/O ports like dual SIM slot, TF card slot, mini USB port and 3.5 mm audio jack and is 11.6mm thick only.
