Close on the heels of the confusion caused by
Assassin’s Creed, we get word, (well actually
www.ign.com got it) that Mercenaries 2: World in Flames may not be a PS3 exclusive and will probably appear on the 360. According to one unnamed Pandemic rep, “Right now, we have PS3 development kits and it’s on PS3, and there is no announcement, but we’re definitely considering Xbox 360.” I don’t see why they should exclude the 360 because the first game came out for both the PS2 and the Xbox. He further adds, “There’s ‘still a lot of time’ and we’re to expect some form of announcement, perhaps a publisher, in the next couple of months.” I am so looking forward to this game because I thoroughly enjoyed the first one;
however I don’t think Hugo Chavez and the rest of Venezuela share the same enthusiasm for this game.
