After plenty of rumours and leaked images , there’s finally a leaked press render of Meizu’s flagship Pro 6 smartphone that has surfaced online. The same was reported by GizChina and comes from a Chinese blog that finally reveals the back of the upcoming flagship smartphone that happens to have a few interesting bits. Also revealed was the launch date for the same that is set for April 13. The body seems to be made of metal with plastic inserts for the antenna gaps that are of a similar darker shade. The inserts are placed in a rather interesting manner that dip towards the bottom and top (like they are avoiding a component on the inside). On the left, we have the volume and power/unlock button while the bottom area consists of the mic, USB port and a 3.5mm headphone jack. There’s a standard circular camera cutout on the back and an interesting circular cutout below it that features the laser autofocus assist module (in black) and the ring LED flash that wraps around it. So far, Motorola was the only company to use a similar set up on its Moto X 2014 and the Google Nexus 6 smartphones. Adding a laser focus assist module in the center does look interesting and we are pretty sure that Meizu will focus on the same at launch. The Meizu Pro 6 is expected to come in two variants, one with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage, and a pricier version sporting 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The Meizu PRO is expected to sport a 5.7-inch display that is powered by 2.5GHz Helio X25 deca-core chipset.
