As expected, Meizu has launched the M2 in India at Rs 6,999., slightly higher than the estimated price last week. In terms of specifications, the Meizu m2 comes with a polycarbonate unibody design and features a 5-inch HD display covered by Asashi Dragontrail protective glass surface. Under the hood, it comes powered by MediaTek MT6735 SoC with a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with Mali T720 GPU and paired with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM. On the storage front, you will get 16GB eMMC memory and you can expand it to up to 144GB using a microSD card slot. The phone features a dual SIM configuration and the second SIM card slot can be interchangeably used as a microSD card slot. The phone features Android 5.1 OS with Meizu’s Flyme UI 4.5 skin atop it. On the camera front, you get a 13MP rear camera with an f/2.2 aperture along with an LED flash unit. On the front, you have a 5MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture. The phone supports 4G FDD-LTE, TD-LTE, GPS, A-GPS, dual-band Wi-fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, among other things. In addition, the company claims to have 46 customer service centres across 33 cities in India to ensure service levels meet the expectation of consumers across the country.
