Meizu launches two new smartphones, the YunOS sporting U10 and U20 in China

Meizu has introduced two new smartphones from its U series in Chine. The latest smartphones are the two new devices by the Chinese smartphone maker in rapid succession right after PRO6 flagship and MX6.

Meizu has introduced two new smartphones from its U series in China. These have been announced right after the PRO6 flagship and MX6 . It is rumored that the company will release Meizu PRO7 this September. Both U10 and U20 smartphones are aimed at the budget category for mobile devices.

U10 and U20 will be available in Black, White, Rose Gold and Champagne Gold with two variants each. Both the devices have a metal body with the Meizu U10 variants equipped with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage priced at USD 150 (roughly Rs 10,000) and 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage variant priced at $165 (roughly Rs 11,300). The U20 has 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage variant priced at $165 (roughly Rs 11,100) along with a 3GB RAM and 32 GB internal storage variant priced at $195 (roughly around Rs 13,100).

U10 sports a 5-inch 2.5D display while the U20 sports a 5.5-inch Full HD 2.5D display powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio processor. Both the devices come with an expandable storage card that support microSD cards up to 128GB. They both sport a 13MP rear camera along with dual LED flash and with a 5MP front-facing camera. U10 comes with a 2760mAh battery while the U20 comes with a 3260mAh battery on board as reported by AndroidHeadlines .

Both the devices feature 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1 and GPS on connectivity front with Dual-hybrid SIM slots. The fingerprint scanner will be available embedded in the mTouch 2.1 home button. The smartphones will come pre-installed with Android-based YunOS. U10 will be available in the market from 18 September while the U20 will be available from 28 August, from the Meizu Store in China.
