The 2010 Medal of Honor reboot wasn’t really that good. In fact, it was rather bad, which is why I’m kind of surprised to see EA unveil Medal of Honor: Warfighter in the latest issue of OXM (Official Xbox Magazine). Not much is known about this game, since OXM’s April issue hasn’t hit stands, yet, but it seems the game will continue the adventures of various Tier 1 Operators, as they continue to make Uncle Sam proud.

Still rocking them badass beards
The game will be made using DICE’s Frostbite 2.0 engine, the very same engine fuelling Battlefield 3. Medal of Honor’s multiplayer that was designed by DICE will now be developed in-house by Danger Close, themselves. A full reveal is expected at next month’s Game Developers Conference (GDC) in San Francisco.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter is scheduled for an October 2012 release.
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
