As we near Max Payne 3’s release date, Rockstar has begun promoting the game in full swing. Besides the numerous ads and gameplay videos, they’ve also tied up with Marvel Comics for three Max Payne 3 comics that will shed some light on the events between Max Payne 1 and 3.
Learn about his troubled past
Max Payne 3 Issue #1: “After the Fall” is written by Dan Houser and Remedy’s Sam Lake, and features cover art from Greg Horn and pencils and inks by Fernando Blanco. The three part series will delve deep into Max’s dark personal history, and “After The Fall” features characters from all three Max Payne games as the series weaves together events from various points in Max’s life.
Best of all, this comic can be downloaded from the official site completely free of cost. However, if you do prefer the actual comic in your hand, you can take part in Rockstar’s lucky draw where they’ll be shipping hardbound copies to ten lucky winners every week. You will however have to be a member of the Rockstar Social Club .
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
