This week developer/publisher THQ have tied up with Steam to provide gamers with their entire catalogue at massive discounts. Starting last night, all THQ games, except for newer stuff like Saints Row: The Third and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine are up for grabs at anything between a 33% to a 75% discount.
Grab ’em while they’re hot
Today you can pick up the highly underrated but excellent shooter Metro 2033 for just $5 (Rs. 244) or grab the entire THQ catalog for $50 (Rs. 2445). This includes nearly fifteen PC games like the Red Faction series, S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, Company of Heroes series and lots more for the price of one console game. If that isn’t a seriously good deal, I don’t know what is.
Nash, as he prefers being called, woke up to the wonders of gaming rather late but don't bring that up around him. It's a touchy subject. A self confessed Battlefield veteran, Nash spent a good part of 2010 on the Steam Battlefield - with Bad Company (see what we did there?). He has a zero tolerance policy towards RTS games but is currently showing an interest by picking up and moving people - who he refers to as units - in the office. Thank God he's not that enthusiastic about Angry Birds or we'd be seeing women flying all over the place. Bali... Bali, put the receptionist down now.
