Battlefield 3 grants you early access to the Mass Effect 3 demo that should be available this January.

Not that you needed more of an incentive to purchase Battlefield 3 but just in case you did, here’s some. According to the official BioWare forums, EA and BioWare plan on dropping a demo for Mass Effect 3 this January. This demo will include both single as well as multiplayer portions and if you own Battlefield 3, you’ll get early access to the multiplayer section with your online pass. Access to the single player part on the other hand will be granted to all from day one. If the notion of multiplayer in Mass Effect 3 comes as a rude shock, you obviously haven’t been keeping up with the times. Kindly head here to enlighten yoursefl.

So what exactly are we looking at?

Details regarding size, content or release date for this demo are not yet known but BioWare plan on divulging these details in the coming months. Expect big announcements from them toward the end of the year. Mass Effect 3 will release for the Xbox360, PS3 and PC by the 6th of March 2012.
