Marshall unveils the first rock 'n' roll Android smartphone dubbed 'London'

A new Android smartphone will soon hit the market and for reasons unknown, this device will be brought to you by Marshall Headphones. Going by the simple name, London , the smartphone comes equipped with some standard specifications and nothing over-the-top. The company emphasises that the smartphone has specially been designed for music.  The London has been priced at 4,995 Swedish krona (Rs 37,400) for an expected delivery of August 21. Image: Marshall[/caption] On the design front, the new music-focused phone has two front-facing speakers, two audio outputs along with a dedicated M button towards the top for instant access to music. Towards the left, users will find a gold-accented scroll wheel to control the volume. The device includes a  special Wolfson WM8281 Audio Hub, which uses high-quality audio processing and the company claims that it will allow a user to ‘play at a higher resolution’. With the smartphone, Marshall adds in a pair of Marshall Mode in-ear headphones as well. Image: Marshall[/caption]   Noticed by The Verge , in terms of features, the device includes a 4.7-inch display along with a 720p resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor paired with a 2GB RAM. It has an internal storage at 16GB and can be further expanded via microSD card. It comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera. It also runs on Android’s latest 5.0.2 Lollipop out-of-the-box. It packs in a 2,500mAh battery as well.
