Mac version of Metro: Last Light out now

Publisher Deep Silver and developer 4A Games have announced that the Mac version of Metro: Last Light is finally out. For those interested, the game is available on digital distribution service Steam for $49.99, which roughly translates to Rs 3,200. It supports Steam Play, so if you already bought the game for your Windows PC, you don’t have to purchase it again. You can simply download it through Steam on Mac. The company plans to release the game on the OS X App Store some time later this year.

STORY CONTINUES BELOW THIS AD

Along with the game itself, Mac gamers can also grab the Season Pass, Faction Pack DLC and Tower Pack DLC of the game. The Season Pass costs $14.99 (Rs 957 approx), while each DLC individually costs $4.99 each (Rs 320 approx). The Linux version of the game is also said to be in development. The release date, however, hasn’t yet been announced. Again, it supports Steam Play, so you don’t have to buy a Linux version of the game separately if you already own it on Windows.

The game is significantly outselling its predecessor

One of the best games of the year is out now for Macs

The most recent DLC to hit the game was the Tower Pack in which players have to fight their way up through a heavily guarded tower, a virtual combat simulator. Each level is increasingly difficult – packed with hordes of enemies, mutants and other deadly threats. The best players in this combat simulator will need to master Metro’s hand-made weaponry and combat mechanics in order to reach the top of the global leaderboards.

The Tower Pack is the second of four add-on content packs to be included in the Metro: Last Light Season Pass. It also includes an additional exclusive weapon, the Abzats.

Ever heard of one of those people who just never seem to shut up about something? Shunal is like the nerd equivalent of that guy. Believe us when we say that he can go on talking about games and smartphones for hours on end. We do manage to find some insight in his insane ramblings though, and through his moronic facade, he does seem to know more than he lets on. Sadly enough, it always ends up being about gaming with him. Or stupid, stupid puns.
