Reliance Retail has launched yet another 4G enabled smartphone under its LYF brand called the Wind 4S. The LYF Wind 4S packs in budget specifications, is priced at Rs 7,699 and will be available in blue, black and brown options.
The LYF Wind 4S features a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720 pixels) IPS display. Inside, it packs in a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 that is clocked at 1.3GHz and features a quad-core architecture. The chipset is paired with 2GB RAM and offers 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB using a microSD card.
Other specifications include an 8MP camera rear camera with an LED flash and 2MP unit up front for selfies. Only the rear camera features an autofocus mechanism.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, Bluetooth 4.1 and obviously 4G LTE bands with VoLTE support. There’s the usual microUSB 2.0 port and the device is powered by a large 4,000mAh battery. The Wind 4S even features USB OTG support.
The LYF Wind 4S is an upgraded version of the LYF Wind 4 that was launched earlier this year and packed in just 1GB RAM and 8GB of internal storage.
Reliance Digital had recently announced the latest LYF smartphone, the LYF Flame 7S. The smartphone featured a 4-inch display and was powered by a Quad-core Speadtrum processor clocked at 1.5GHz running on 1GB RAM. The Flame 7S comes with 8GB internal storage and a dedicated microSD card slot to expand the memory up to 32GB.
