Soon after the official announcement of the Jio 4G network , Reliance Retail has announced yet another LYF branded smartphone called the Water 11. The Water 11 is a budget smartphone priced at Rs 8,199 and will join the long list of smartphones in the 4G-enabled LYF range. The smartphone features a metal frame and is available in a Rose Gold variant that features a sleek, rounded design. There’s a 5-inch display of HD resolution on the front featuring a pixel density of 294ppi. Inside, the smartphone features a MediaTek MTK 6735A chipset coupled with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The internal storage is expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot. On the back we have a 13MP camera while the front features a 5MP unit. Coming to connectivity options we have a LTE Cat 4, 3G HSPA+, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth v4.1. The smartphone also features a USB OTG and an FM radio. On the software side of things you get Android 6.0 Marshmallow that is almost stock. You also get the pre-installed Jio Apps that will get you access to the Jio 4G’s content services. The above is powered by a 2,100mAh battery and is rated to deliver a standby time of up to 300 hours.
