Lyf Water 10 smartphone with Reliance Jio preview offer announced at Rs 8,699

Reliance Retail has added another handset under the Lyf brand called the Water 10. The smartphone comes right after the company announced the Lyf Flame 7 and Wind 7. Like previous Lyf smartphones, this too comes with a Reliance Jio SIM with the complementary Preview offer that offers three months of unlimited data, SMS, voice calling and access to Reliance Jio services and apps. The Lyf Water 10 smartphone supports 4G LTE bands in India - FDD-LTE Band 3 (1800MHz) and TDD-LTE Band 40 (2300MHz). The handset also supports VoLTE (voice over LTE) with HD voice call compatibility. The smartphone features a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6753 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. There is 16GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded further via a microSD card of up to 64GB. In the camera department, the smartphone offers a 13MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. The camera will be offering features like auto scene detection, face detection, video snapshot, smile shot, gesture capture and more. The handset measures at 146.5x72x8.5mm and weighs in at 142 grams. Connectivity options include 4G LTE (Cat 4) and VoLTE support, GPS, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB-OTG, and Micro-USB. A 2300mAH battery provides the juice to the device and is said to offer 7 hours of talktime on 4G. The new Lyf Water 10 is currently listed on the company’s website for Rs. 8,699. Expect the handset to reach online stores as well as offline stores including Reliance Digital and Digital Xpress.
