LulzSec Under Attack

Hacker group, LulzSec have been running rampant over the past few weeks, taking down various websites, after TeaMp0isoN called LulzSec script kiddies which is a derogatory term for hackers. According to a report by The Hacker News, the website of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) which is a non-profit public broadcasting service in the US has been targeted again. This time around it’s by a hacker who goes by the alias Warv0x. LulzSec are the hackers who have previously targeted PBS.

There is a little twist in the tale with the hacking of PBS by Warv0x though as they claim, “This wasn’t done for fame or fun,just proving LulzSec aren’t as good as they think they are. I haven’t rooted the box or been up to crack the hashes, I’m just proving that most of their attacks are very lame and basic (i’m pretty sure and automated) SQL injections and further privilege escalation, which is just matter of time.” He goes on to say, “Support for WebNinjas & Jester, good job at exposing them.Sad to mention, but I really agree with th3j35t3r & WebNinjas - LulzSec are just a bunch of script kiddies...”

According to another report by The Hacker News, th3j35t3r pronounced The Jester has leaked information online about the supposed leader of LulzSec, Xavier Kaotico who goes by the alias Sabu. It is said that he’s maybe a resident of New York and works as an independent IT consultant.
